  • Towels or puppy pads

  • Hay bale kept nearby if required
  • Nasal Aspirator
  • Scissors with Alcohol wipes
  • Betadine or similar
  • Dental floss/similar
  • Thermometer
  • Stethoscope
  • Heat mat
  • Heat lamps

  • Disposable Syringes
  • Garbage bags
  • Clean jug for milking colostrum
  • Veterinarian Contact information
  • First Aid
  • Anitone
  • Molasses / warm water
  • Drench for the mother Udder balm/Derasol/Paw Paw cream

Have These Things on Hand and Stored Correctly.

  • Back up colostrum in the freezer or powdered
  • Syringes with syringe teat
